Esper Mami or エスパー魔美 was a Japanese anime made for young girls in the 1987. Esper Mami Japanese anime started as a Japanese comic book series. 119 episodes of this Japanese anime were made, each lasting a little less than half an hour. Esper Mami Japanese anime featured a young girl named Mami who had special ESP power.

Plot line of Esper Mami Japanese anime

Esper Mami Japanese anime was about a girl called Sakura Mami who had red hair that curled up on both sides. Sakura Mami was an ordinary junior high school student who discovered that she had a special power or telepathy or ESP. With the help of Mr. Takahata who became Mami's most trusted friend, Mami began solving mysteries that came her way.

Mr. Takahata had himself wanted to be an esper but soon realized that he did not have that ability and decided to help Esper Mami instead. Whenever Esper Mami felt that someone was in trouble and needed her help, she would use the 'Teleportation Gun' given to her by Mr. Takahata to teleport to the place she needed to be. Esper Mami then saved people using her various ESP related powers.

One time, Mami went to investigate an incidence in a cave. However, when she wanted to return, she found out that her teleportation gun ran out of the mini bullets she had been using to transport herself. She panicked but felt silly when Mr. Takahata reminded her that her transportation power did not need any Teleportation gun for it to work. All she had to do was hit herself in the head with her fist to transport somewhere.
