The old Japanese anime, Magical Girl Lalabelle, is about a girl from the Magic Kingdom (not Mickey Mouse's Disneyland) where magic is used by everyone on a daily basis and flying with a broomstick is a common form of transport.

Magical Girl Lalabelle (Larabelle) flying on her broomstick with her pal, Billa, riding along.

One day Lalabelle, on her Magic Kingdom, Lalabelle spotted a crooked man stealing two magical briefcases from the Magic Kingdom and trying to escape to Earth, the non-magical world. Lalabelle, being a nice girl, tried to stop him. While struggling to stop him, they both fell off the Magic Kingdom down to Earth. The portal closed and both Lalabelle and the thief are stuck on the non magical world. Luckily Lalabelle has her furry, yellow little pal calle Billa with her to keep her company (in the picture of Magical Girl Lalabelle above).

All the episodes of the Magical Girl Lalabelle are about Lalabelle integrating and trying to fit into the non magical world without using her magic, while stopping the thief from taking advantage of humans and at the same time trying to find a way back home to her Magic Kingdom.
