カムイ外伝

Ninja Kamui or カムイ外伝 was an old Japanese anime aired in the late 1970s. This is a rare Japanese anime that never made it out of Asia. The story of this Ninja Kamui Japanese anime featured the fugitive ninja called Kamui. This forgotten Japanese anime followed the life of Ninja Kamui. There were 26 episodes.

Ninja Kamui was a very skilled ninja whose reputation attracted many assassins. He was a ninja with honor and would only defeat the enemies who tried to kill him first. Ninja Kamui Japanese animes were medieval adventures based on the graphical novel of Sanpei Shirato titled カムイ外伝 or Kamui Gaiden or ninpu Kamui gaiden.

The story of Ninja Kamui Japanese anime took place at the time of Shogun Eietsumo, Shogun of Tokugahua. Ninja Kamui was considered treasonous for deserting his duties. The Emperor then sent many assassins after Ninja Kamui but all of them failed to kill him since Ninja Kamui possessed unparalleled skills of dagger and hand to hand combat.
