Story of This is Love (白い窓の向こう側)

This is Love is the story of how the two realized their love for each other. One rainy day when Yoshi and Seiko were very young, Yoshi was ill in bed. He had to miss a sports event at school. Yoshi was a moody boy who was rude to everyone. That evening Seiko ran in the rain to Yoshi's house to give him a gift that the school gave to everyone who attended. Being a rebellious boy, Yoshi sneered at the gift and said that he didn't want that color. While his mom scolded him for being so rude, Seiko grabbed the gift back, said sorry to Yoshi for not thinking of the color and ran back to the school to change the gift for him. That act of kindness touched Yoshi. The sick boy then grabbed an umbrella and ran after Seiko. He caught up with her when she was on her way back to give him the gift in the color he liked. From that moment on, Yoshi was in love with Seiko. Seiko too was in love with Yoshi but she did not know it until much later.
