One day, Yoshi confessed to Seiko that he had always loved her. This shocked her and she ran away without a word. The next day she couldn't face him and from then on Seiko tried to avoid eye contact with Yoshi at all costs. This upset Yoshi so he said sorry to Seiko for telling her about his love and that he would leave her alone from then on. Only when Yoshi became distant would Seiko realized that she also loved Yoshi. The moral of this story was that when Yoshi was so close to Seiko, she couldn't see him or how much he meant to her. You would only see the true value of things only after you lost them. This is Love (白い窓の向こう側) is a beautiful love story by Hikawa Kyoko (ひかわ きょうこ).

In the end, Seiko realized that she loved Yoshi but it seemed too late to tell him since she already distant himself from her. Seiko was distraught. But, eventually, Seiko found courage to tell Yoshi that she too loved him. She ran to him and held him from behind as she told him and cried. Yoshi comforted her and they lived happily ever after.
