Uno and Mariko

Below is the picture of the two courageous ladies in the Yokohama Story, Yokohama Monogatari (ヨコハマ物語) by Yamato Waki (大和和紀). Yokohama Monogatari (ヨコハマ物語) by Yamato Waki (大和和紀) is a love epic featuring the lives of two very different but the same women in Yokohama called Uno and Mariko. Uno is the girl in the background with dark hair. Uno is a very courageous girl in her own ways who was an orphan since she was a child but that did not stop her from getting great education and travelled to the United States to find the man she loved. Lady Mariko is the one in the foreground with lighter hair color.
