Yami no Purple Eye

The next phase of Yami no Purple Eye or Purple Eye of Darkness Japanese anime was about the life of Ozaki Rinko's daughter, Mizushima Mai. She was now a teenager, about the same age as her mother when she first transformed into a leopard. Mizushima Shin raised her as his own daughter. They moved often to avoid running into anyone who might want to harm them.

While Mizushima Mai could not transform into a leopard like her mother could, she had a special power to control things with her mind. She also could jump very high and almost could fly. At this point the story of Yami no Purple Eye or Purple Eye of Darkness Japanese anime split into two folds. The first was about the story of another group of humans who could transform. One of the group befriended her at school. He was handsome and Mizushima Mai was divided between loving him and loving her step father, Mizushima Shin.

The second side of the Yami no Purple Eye or Purple Eye of Darkness Japanese anime story was the re-introduction of the evil teacher. She and Ozaki Rinko apparently did not die after they fell off a steep cliff. Someone helped them and the evil teacher had been keeping Ozaki Rinko's body frozen all this time and used a technique to control her mind and make her do things that she wanted.

When Mizushima Shin found out that his beloved Ozaki Rinko might be alive, he risked himself going to see the evil teacher. Mizushima Mai found out the plot and went to try to save her step father with the help of her new boyfriend. A fight began as the evil teacher again plotted to kill. Mizushima Shin died without seeing Ozaki Rinko. But, Mizushima Mai found her, rescued her and the mother and daughter reunited for the first time. Ozaki Rinko was kept in frozen room all this time so she did not age one bit.
