Yokohama Monogatari Pics

Yokohama Monogatari (ヨコハマ物語) by Yamato Waki (大和和紀) is full of controversies, adventures, courage, and how life in Japan was. The story started when Japan was not full of foreign influences but by the end of the story, Japan embraced foreign influences. The main lady, Uno travelled to America and saw how Japanese people were treated in the US, as nothing more than a slave and prostitute. Her lover, a young doctor dropped out of Harvard to help people even though he did not have a license to practice medicine. He could not bear to see so many people hurt and not getting help.
